Modified Class
- Tractor must be stock in appearance. Frame, Engine and Transaxle must be from OEM produced Garden Tractor Components. (Use of non-matching components is permitted only if requirements are met per Official’s discretion)
- Frame modifications are permitted to fit engine as needed
- Wheelbase must be no longer than 54”
- Maximum distance from center of rear axle to farthest point forward including weights is 84”
- Weight: Max total weight with driver and helmet: 1000lbs
- Rear Tires/Wheels: Max tire size: 26” x 12” x 12” May use cut tires or Pulling Type Tires
- Engine: Max HP/Cubic Inches V-Twin: 25hp/44ci, Open RPM
- Bore and Stroke must remain stock.
- Aftermarket pistons, rods, valve springs, lifters, and camshaft are allowed.
- Cam: limited to increased lift of .420” and increased duration of 250 degrees. (MWSC Cam Kit 6000 or equivalent only)
- Cylinder Heads: No reversed heads. No re-cast, billet or plated heads. Heads may be ported but must maintain original size. Heads must be stock with visible part number castings.
- Adjustable Flywheel is permitted
- No fuel over 112 Octane or 108 MON, 116 RON
- Electric fuel pump is permitted (must be connected to kill switch)
- Carburetor: Single downdraft with max venturi size of 1.200 inches. Two barrel with each venturi less than 22mm. No air entering after restriction.
- In addition to dead-man’s throttle, throttle shaft at carb must have return spring
- Engine Shielding: Stock, 1/8” steel or 3/16” aluminum is required.
- All tractors must have fully charged (minimum 1 lb. with gauge) fire extinguisher within reach of driver
- All drivers must wear long shirts and gloves in addition to helmets etc. as stated in General Rules.
